A skip can only be loaded up to the level of the actual skip itself, (level loads only). It’s important that this is adhered too, as it is against the law for drivers to carry over loaded skips on highways.

Account customers will be invoiced, non-account customers can pay by Debit or Credit Card, or by BACS.
Normally for two weeks, but longer periods of time can be arranged. Please contact us. Note: additional charges may apply.
A standard skip or roll-on-off vehicle usually requires a minimum of 10ft (3.3m) width and approximately 13ft (4m) headroom.
If you are in any doubt about the access to your site, we are here to help, so just ask.
Obviously larger quantities of lighter waste would require a larger skip. But heavy materials such as, soil, concrete, clay and rubble must go in a skip no larger than 8 cu yards, as weight then becomes an issue.
Also consider the size of the skip in relation to where it is to be sited. Please ensure the site is large enough and access is adequate. Please refer to our skip size guide below:

Please refer to the above list of ‘cans and can’ts’. If required, we can arrange for the safe and legal disposal of any type of waste you may have.
For use of a skip at home/residential premises, you can place the skip on your driveway and no permit will be required. A skip can also be placed on the public highway, however a permit will need to be obtained from your local council.
If you would like help, we can help arrange the permit for you for an additional charge. It is also important to note that the length of time it takes an application to be processed can vary from council to council. Depending on the local authority, application periods can be anything from ‘same day’ to two weeks. Therefore, when you know it’s likely a permit will be required on an upcoming site it is vital that you give as much notice as possible to avoid unnecessary delays.
Please note as the user hiring the skip, the lighting and coning of the skip whilst it is placed on public land is your responsibility.
We offer a,‘Wait and Load service’ whereby the driver can wait half an hour while the skip is loaded at no extra cost; waiting charge times apply after the first 30 minutes.
